The Gesture technology made check-in, bidding, and checkout simple for our guests. It also meant that we had the ability to edit items on the fly (even those that came in after the deadline for donations, and those that donors wanted specific edits for).
I loved how available you were to answer our questions, and to help us get everything set up properly. Our committee and Board of Directors were delighted that we had our auction up and running a week in advance of the event, and that we had $4,000 worth of bids before the event even started.
The process of the event was smoother than smooth. Emily was an excellent event representative, and she even agreed to meet a day in advance, right after her plane landed. Her team was early, excited, capable, outgoing and exceeded our expectations. Emily herself was well prepped, and although we had changes in program (and a hiccup involving the announcement for our raffle), she handled everything perfectly, and the team jumped in proactively as needed. It was very calming to watch our Live Auction and Fund-A-Need with her right next to me, so that we could both record all bids and double-check each other as we went.
Most exciting to me, I had complete data on all bidders and bids the day after. Instead of double- and triple-checking my winning bids, payments, and credit card charges before sending the credit charges off to my payment company, I knew that we had all the bids and the right payments recorded. You ran the cards, and I spent the morning after cycling through the reports that were immediately available to me online. It was amazing and illuminating to have accurate data available instantly.
Our only thought about next year is how to use even more of the capabilities Gesture offers us.
